Blogs - Taking the plunge

I am finally taking the plunge into the "blog world". Even though I have been thinking about starting my own blog for a while, something (maybe laziness) held me back.

I started following Fred Wilson's blog sometime back. He is fantastic. I love his thoughts on venture capital and politics. He gets the credit for making me believe in sharing ideas using a Blog!

Today I watched a fantastic movie - Startup.com. I loved it! It is about this company called govWorks.com founded by Kaleil Isaza Tuzman and Tom Herman. The directors, Chris Hegedus and Jehane Noujaim, did a great job of editing (more of a documentary).

Why did I love this documentary? Startup.com is about emotions of people involved in a startup company. It is little over a year since we started finEye and I could relate to the emotions in the movie. It is all about people. We have gone through some tough times in building finEye so far. Credit to all. Paritosh, Tejas, Poola, Ravi, Krishna, Andreas and others. We have to keep it going. Nothing beats getting kudos from customers. I can proudly claim that the core team has complete agreement on one thing - Add incremental value for customers.
